Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 2 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are the rules and the user agreement for Salonkarts®, a business-to-business platform on which salons, beauty parlours and beauty professionals order professional salon products. Our Privacy Policy and our Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy form part of these Terms. Please read all three before you order.

1. Who we are and how to reach us

1.1 Salonkarts is operated by SKS B2B PRODUCTS PRIVATE LIMITED, a private limited company incorporated in India (Corporate Identity Number U20237MH2025PTC443139). In these Terms “we”, “us” and “our” mean this company. “You” means the person using Salonkarts and the business that person acts for.

1.2 Registered office: G-2, D Wing, Spring Leaf Bldg, Lokhandwala Township, Kandivali East, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400101, India.

1.3 Salonkarts is offered through the website https://salonkarts.com, the Salonkarts app for salon owners (Android application ID com.salonkartsb2b.onlineapp, and iOS), the Salonkarts delivery partner app (Android application ID com.salonkarts.deliverypartner) and the tools we provide to sellers. Together we call these “Salonkarts” or “the platform”. On Google Play and the Apple App Store the Salonkarts apps appear under the developer account of CapriTech Global Services Private Limited; SKS B2B PRODUCTS PRIVATE LIMITED operates the service and is the company responsible to you under these Terms.

1.4 Customer care: e-mail support@salonkarts.com, phone +91 98218 88863. Complaints are dealt with as set out in section 21.

2. Accepting these Terms

2.1 You accept these Terms when you create an account, place an order or otherwise use Salonkarts. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the platform.

2.2 These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy are published electronically in English. They can be opened from the Menu of the app and from the website.

2.3 An order is governed by the version of these Terms that was in force when the order was placed.

3. Who may use Salonkarts

3.1 Salonkarts is meant for salons, beauty parlours and beauty professionals who buy products for use in their business. It is not designed for household shopping.

3.2 To use Salonkarts you must be at least 18 years old, able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law, and authorised to act for the business whose name and GSTIN you give us.

3.3 Describing Salonkarts as a business-to-business platform does not take away any right the law gives you. If the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 treats you as a consumer (for example, a self-employed professional who buys goods and uses them only to earn a livelihood), the protections of that Act and of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 apply to you, and nothing in these Terms limits them.

3.4 The rules of conduct in sections 13 to 15 apply to every user of the platform, including sellers and delivery partners.

4. Your account

4.1 You can browse products and build a cart as a guest. You need an account to place an order, see your orders, save billing details or use the wallet.

4.2 In the app you log in with your mobile number and a 6-digit one-time password (OTP) that we send by SMS. The OTP is valid for 10 minutes and can be used once. There is no password. The first time you log in we ask for your name and the name of your salon or business. To prevent misuse, we limit how many OTPs can be requested, and how many wrong codes can be entered, in a short period.

4.3 The app keeps you logged in on your phone until you log out. Keep your phone, your SIM and your OTPs to yourself. Orders placed from your account are treated as placed by you, so tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.

4.4 Where the website offers another way to sign in (such as e-mail and password, or a Google account), these Terms apply in the same way and you must keep any password secret.

4.5 You must give true and complete details and keep them up to date.

4.6 You can close your account from Menu, then Delete Account, in the app. What happens to your information when you do this is explained in the Privacy Policy. A mobile number whose account has been closed is not accepted for login again; contact customer care if you later wish to use Salonkarts again.

5. Business and GST details

5.1 Under Menu, then Billing & GST, you can save your business name, GSTIN and billing address. The GSTIN saved at the time of checkout is recorded on that order and printed on its invoice together with your name, contact details and delivery address. Changes you make afterwards apply to future orders, so check your details before you place each order.

5.2 We check only that the GSTIN is in the correct format. We do not verify it with the tax authorities. You are responsible for the accuracy of your business name, GSTIN and addresses, for your own tax filings and for any input tax credit you claim. We do not give tax advice.

6. Products and listings

6.1 A listing shows the product name, images, description, pack size or variant and price and, where the seller has provided them, the manufacturer and the country in which the product was made. Images are for illustration; packaging may differ from the picture.

6.2 Every product on Salonkarts is supplied by a seller that we have registered and approved, and each product is approved before it is listed. The store name of the seller is shown against each item on your invoice. Where the seller of an item is SKS B2B PRODUCTS PRIVATE LIMITED itself, we are the seller of that item and are responsible as such.

6.3 We require every seller to list only genuine products, to give descriptions and images that match the actual product, and to make all declarations that the law requires for packaged goods, including the maximum retail price, the net quantity, the name and address of the manufacturer, packer or importer and, for imported goods, the country of origin and the importer’s details. The seller is responsible for the correctness of the information it supplies. If we learn that a listing is inaccurate, we correct or remove it.

6.4 Counterfeit or spurious products are not allowed on Salonkarts. If you receive one, you may return it and get a refund under the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy, whatever the return setting of that product.

6.5 The maximum retail price (MRP) printed on a pack is inclusive of all taxes. Please check the label, including any best-before or use-before date, when you receive the goods.

6.6 Many products are professional salon products. Use them only as the manufacturer directs, including any patch test, mixing, timing and safety instructions on the label. Nothing on Salonkarts is medical or professional advice.

6.7 Stock is limited. A product may become unavailable after you add it to the cart.

6.8 How products are ordered on screen: the sections, categories and banners on the home screen are arranged by our team. Inside a section or list, products appear newest first unless a different order has been set for that section, such as best-selling, price, discount, rating or alphabetical. Product lists also give you a Sort option.

7. Prices, taxes and charges

7.1 Prices are in Indian Rupees. Depending on the product, GST is either already included in the price shown or added at checkout. The checkout always shows the tax amount.

7.2 Before you confirm an order, the checkout shows one total amount payable together with its break-up: item total, tax, delivery charge, platform fee (if any), tip (if you choose to add one), coupon discount and wallet balance used. We do not add any charge that is not shown at checkout.

7.3 Delivery charge. The delivery charge depends on your delivery area. It may be a fixed amount, a rate per kilometre or a distance band, worked out from the distance between the place the goods are sent from and your delivery address. Delivery is free when your order value is above the free-delivery limit set for your area. The exact charge is shown at checkout.

7.4 Platform fee. A platform fee may be added to each order. If it applies, it is shown as a separate line, with any tax on it, before you confirm.

7.5 Minimum order. We set a minimum order value. The app tells you if your cart is below it, and the order cannot be placed until it is reached.

7.6 Tip. A tip for the delivery partner is optional and is added only if you choose it.

7.7 Offers, coupons and discounts apply as described where they are shown and may be changed or withdrawn for future orders.

7.8 We do not manipulate prices to make an unreasonable profit, and we do not discriminate between buyers of the same class.

8. Placing an order

8.1 At checkout you choose a delivery address, a delivery method and a payment method. Your order is placed only when you tap the button that places the order. Nothing is ordered automatically.

8.2 After you place it, the order appears under Orders with the status Received. It then moves through Processed, Shipped, Out For Delivery and Delivered. An order can also be marked Cancelled, and items can be marked Returned. If notifications are switched on, the app tells you when the status changes.

8.3 We or the seller may be unable to accept or complete an order, for example because an item is out of stock, the address is outside our service area, there is an obvious error in the listing, or we suspect misuse. In that case the order is cancelled and you are told. No cancellation charge applies, and section 3 of the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy explains what happens to anything you have paid.

8.4 Once an order is accepted, the sale of each item is between you and the seller of that item (see clause 6.2).

9. Payment and the Salonkarts wallet

9.1 Payment methods. Cash on delivery is the payment method available at present. You pay the delivery partner in cash when the goods are delivered. Any Salonkarts wallet balance you choose to apply is deducted first.

9.2 We charge no fee for choosing a payment method unless a fee is shown to you at checkout before you confirm.

9.3 Security. The apps and the website talk to our server over encrypted HTTPS connections. With cash on delivery we do not collect any card or bank details from you. There are no recurring or automatic payments, so there is nothing to cancel, and no charge-back arises on a cash payment.

9.4 Online payment. If we add online payment methods, they will be shown at checkout and handled by the payment provider named there. That provider’s terms, security measures, charge-back rules and contact details will be added to this section before the method is switched on.

9.5 Wallet. The wallet holds credits from refunds, referral rewards and adjustments made by us. It can be used only to pay for Salonkarts orders. It cannot be topped up with money or withdrawn to a bank account in the app. More detail is in the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy.

9.6 Referral rewards. When a referral programme is running, the reward amounts shown in the app are credited to the wallets of the new user and the referrer after the new user first verifies with a valid referral code. A referral code can be entered only at a new user’s first login, and you cannot use your own code. We may change or stop the programme.

10. Delivery

10.1 We deliver only to areas that the app or website shows as serviceable for your location or chosen address.

10.2 Depending on what is offered for your order, you can choose home delivery, scheduled delivery on a date and time slot or, where available, self pickup. The options available to you are shown at checkout.

10.3 Delivery times shown on the platform are estimates. If we deliver later than the delivery date or time slot stated for your order, you may return the goods and get a refund under section 4 of the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy, unless the delay was caused by events outside our control.

10.4 Each order has a 4-digit delivery code shown in the app. Give this code to the delivery partner only when you have received the goods. Where delivery verification is switched on, the delivery partner cannot mark the order as delivered without it.

10.5 Please make sure that someone is present at the delivery address, can be reached on the contact number saved with the address, and can pay for a cash on delivery order. Please look over the package when it arrives.

10.6 Where live tracking is available, the app shows the name, mobile number and current position of the delivery partner for your order.

11. Cancellations, returns and refunds

11.1 The full rules are in the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy. In short:

  • you can cancel an order in the app while its status is Received, that is, before it is marked Processed, and we charge no cancellation fee;
  • we do not charge you any fee when we or a seller cancel an order;
  • goods that are defective, deficient, spurious, not as described or delivered late can always be returned for a refund;
  • other returns depend on whether the product is marked returnable and on its return period;
  • refunds are credited to your Salonkarts wallet.

12. Invoices

12.1 An invoice is generated for every order and can be downloaded as a PDF from the order details. It shows your name, mobile number, e-mail address if you have given one, delivery address and the GSTIN saved on the order, the tax charged, and the store name of the seller for each item.

12.2 Tell customer care promptly if an invoice shows a wrong detail.

13. Rules of conduct

13.1 You must not use Salonkarts (including reviews, names, addresses, delivery instructions or any other text or image you submit) to host, display, upload, publish, send, store or share any information that:

  • belongs to another person and to which you have no right;
  • is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another person’s privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling, or promotes enmity between groups or incites violence;
  • is harmful to a child;
  • infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
  • deceives or misleads about where a message comes from, or knowingly communicates misinformation or information that is patently false or misleading;
  • impersonates another person;
  • threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States or public order, or incites the commission of an offence;
  • contains a software virus or any other code, file or program designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the working of a computer resource;
  • relates to an online game that is not permitted by law, or advertises or promotes one;
  • violates any law in force.

13.2 You must also not: place false or abusive orders; misuse coupons, the wallet or the referral programme; use another person’s mobile number, business name or GSTIN without authority; post fake or paid-for reviews; copy or scrape the platform; or try to break, overload or get around its security.

14. Reviews and other content you post

14.1 You can rate and review products you have ordered. Reviews approved by our team are shown to other users with your name and, if your account has one, your profile picture.

14.2 Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience. We do not post fake reviews, and we do not misrepresent the quality or features of any product.

14.3 You allow us to display the reviews and other content you post on Salonkarts. We may decline to publish, or may remove, content that breaks section 13.

15. Suspension, removal and legal consequences

15.1 If you do not follow these Terms, the Privacy Policy or the rules in section 13, we have the right to suspend or end your access to Salonkarts immediately, or to remove the non-compliant information, or both. A closed account cannot be used to log in.

15.2 Breaking the rules in section 13 may also make you liable to penalty or punishment under the Information Technology Act, 2000 or any other applicable law.

15.3 Where the law requires an offence to be reported, we will report it to the appropriate authority.

15.4 We may keep information that has been removed, and the records connected with it, for as long as the law requires. See the retention section of the Privacy Policy.

15.5 If we suspend or close an account, orders already delivered must still be paid for, and section 8 of the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy applies to any wallet balance.

16. Sellers, our role as a platform and fair dealing

16.1 For items sold by a seller other than us, Salonkarts acts as an online marketplace: the seller provides the listing information and supplies the goods. We follow the due-diligence duties of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and we remove or disable unlawful content promptly when we receive a court order, a notice from the appropriate government agency or a valid complaint under section 21.

16.2 A seller can sell on Salonkarts only after we approve the seller, and a product is listed only after it is approved. Clause 6.3 sets out what we require of sellers.

16.3 After you buy goods sold by a seller other than us, you may ask us in writing for information about that seller, including its business name, the address of its head office and branches, its website and its e-mail address, so that you can contact it to resolve a dispute. We will give you this information.

16.4 Fair dealing. We do not adopt unfair trade practices. We do not mislead users by manipulating search results, and we follow the Guidelines for Prevention and Regulation of Dark Patterns, 2023.

16.5 From 1 January 2027, as the amended Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules require, we will also: label sponsored listings distinctly; show the prior price whenever we announce a price reduction; show the name of the seller on the invoice as prominently as our own name; give every complainant a copy of the complaint as recorded; display the full name of the country of origin and the best-before or use-before date of products; partner with the National Consumer Helpline; carry out a yearly self-audit for dark patterns and display the certificate; not use information collected through the platform to promote our own brands or associated sellers without your express consent; and not bundle fees for unrelated services.

17. Google Maps and other third-party services

17.1 Salonkarts includes Google Maps features and content (for example address search, maps and order tracking). Your use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the current Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. If you break those Google terms, we may suspend your use of the map features.

17.2 We also use other service providers, such as an SMS gateway for OTPs and Google Firebase for notifications. The Privacy Policy explains what they receive.

17.3 Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content of websites we do not operate.

18. Intellectual property

18.1 Salonkarts® is a registered trademark. The Salonkarts name and logo, the apps, the website and their design and content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify or use them without written permission, except to use the platform as intended.

18.2 Product names, brand names and logos shown in listings belong to their respective owners. Google Maps and its logos are trademarks of Google.

19. Availability of the service

19.1 We may update, change or pause any part of Salonkarts, including for maintenance. We try to keep the platform available but do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.

20. Liability

20.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited. In particular, we do not exclude responsibility for goods that are defective, deficient, spurious or not as described, or for the authenticity of goods of which we are the seller.

20.2 Subject to clause 20.1 and as far as the law allows: (a) we are not responsible for indirect losses such as loss of profit, business or goodwill; and (b) our total responsibility in connection with an order is limited to the amount paid or payable for that order.

20.3 You are responsible for using products safely and as the manufacturer directs. We are not responsible for harm caused by use that goes against the label instructions or by untrained persons.

20.4 We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions or network failures.

20.5 You are responsible for loss caused to us or to others by your breach of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

21. Complaints and Grievance Officer

21.1 How to complain. Write to support@salonkarts.com or call +91 98218 88863. Please give your registered mobile number, the order number (if any) and a short description of the problem.

21.2 Complaints are handled by the Grievance Officer of SKS B2B PRODUCTS PRIVATE LIMITED. Letters to the Grievance Officer can be sent to the same e-mail address (please write “Grievance” in the subject line), to the same phone number, or by post to the registered office address in clause 1.2.

21.3 What we will do:

  • acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and give you a reference number with which you can track it;
  • resolve complaints about the platform, an account, content or the conduct of a user within 7 days of receipt;
  • act within 36 hours on a request to remove content that breaks the rules in section 13, where the law sets that time limit;
  • remove or disable, within 2 hours of a complaint, content that shows a person’s private parts, nudity or a sexual act, or that impersonates a person, including morphed images;
  • resolve complaints about an order, product, delivery, payment or refund as quickly as we can and at the latest within one month of receipt;
  • resolve complaints about personal information as set out in the Privacy Policy.

21.4 If your complaint concerns goods sold by a seller other than us, send it to us in the same way. We will take it up with the seller and remain your point of contact.

21.5 If you are a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, you may also approach the National Consumer Helpline or a consumer commission. Using our complaint process does not take away any remedy the law gives you.

22. Governing law and disputes

22.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

22.2 Please use the complaint process in section 21 first. Subject to any right you have under the law to approach a consumer commission or another forum, disputes about these Terms are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India that have jurisdiction over them.

23. Changes to these Terms and reminders

23.1 We may change these Terms. The new version will be published here with a new effective date and will apply to orders placed after that date. If you do not agree with a change, please stop using the platform; you may also close your account.

23.2 As the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 require, we will remind users of the rules in section 13 and of the consequences in section 15 at least once every three months, and we will tell users at least once a year about these Terms, the Privacy Policy and any change to them. We do this by a notice in the app, on the website or by message.

24. General

24.1 If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest continues to apply.

24.2 If we do not enforce a right at once, we can still enforce it later.

24.3 You may not transfer your account to another person without our consent.
